Now that we are settled into the Fall 2024 semester, the IGSA and SAGE (Supporting Aboriginal Graduate Enhancement) are hosting an Indigenous graduate student meet-up! The plan is to partake in board games, beading and bannock from 2 PM to 5 PM on Wednesday, October 23.
Join us to meet the current executive, foster relationships with fellow Indigenous students, and share your thoughts on the future direction of the IGSA.
Here's a very loose schedule
2PM doors open, eat and mingle
2:30PM introductions
3PM fun and food till event end
5PM wrap up
We will be offering fruit and veggies, bannock and jam, as well as tea and some other beverages. No need to bring anything–we will provide all the games and beading supplies.
Room TBD (likely Kiva room in Ed. North or somewhere in Triffo Hall).
